I love to meet new people
I love to meet new people, everybody has a different scent. Some good some bad. The nurse came in to show Mom how to put her ankle brace on and of course I needed to do a meet and greet.
Havens GOTCHA Day

1st time in a doctor’s office
Waiting patiently for them to finish with checking Mom’s ankle. They even left the door open and I didn’t try to run away.
1st elevator ride
Escorting my mom to her doctor’s appointment to get her ankle checked. We went into a metal box, that made noise and went up, I wasn’t sure what it was mom reassured me it was ok and said it was an elevator.
Patiently waiting
I escorted and waited patiently with my mom in the waiting room while my brother got his teeth cleaned at the dentist office. I was very quiet, you wouldn’t realize I was there. I would hear people compliment how well behaved and quiet I was to mom.
1st trip into the Pet store

Penny doing her job
Penny knows how to read my body language and senses when I am depressed. In these times she knows exactly what to do, comfort mama and take her mind off of what ever it is that is causing her to have a depressive or anxious episode that fully affects her daily life. Ever since getting Penny my life has been changed for the better. When she looks at me I know there is a purpose to keep pushing through. I don’t know where I would be without her.
